Pickup and carry the cake box from the bottom only, never from the top or sides.
Keep the cake level at all times- during transportation, refrigeration, and while displaying.
Place the cake in an air conditioned vehicle. Drive slowly avoiding sudden stops and turns.
Store the cake in the box in a refrigerator. Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat when not in the fridge.
AliKay will advise, depending on flavor profile, when it is appropriate to take cake out of the fridge or freezer to display.
Use a sturdy cake stand at least 1 inch larger than the cake board.
Be mindful of placing candles on cake. Toppers may be made flammable materials including plastic, vinyl, paper, & wood.
Remove all of the cake decorations before cutting and serving. This includes cake toppers, supports, candles and non edible decorations.
Store the leftover cake in airtight container in the refrigerator & toss remaining cake, 5 days after cutting.
